Join to Serve Our Community…
Become part of the Mississippi Registry of Interpreter for the Deaf (MSRID) which is the state’s premier organization to provide services to the deaf community, and help support and promote the profession of sign language interpreting in Mississippi.
Membership Categories:
Regular Members: For persons who work in a deaf/interpreting related field, are in good standing with the Chapter, and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct as set forth by RID. Regular members may vote and hold office.
Student Members: For persons taking six (6) or more credit hours in an Interpreter Training Program and/or deaf related field. Must be in good standing with the Chapter and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct as set forth by RID. Student members may not vote or hold office.
Associate Member: For persons interested in supporting the goals and purposes of MSRID. Associate members may not vote or hold office.
Organizational Members: For organizations interested in supporting the goals and purposes of MSRID. Organizational members or their representatives may not vote or hold office.
Membership Rates:

Member dues are payable in January each year. Dues are prorated by quarters for new members wishing to join for the remainder of the current year. Renewing members pay full price in any month. |

MSRID encourages members to join the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).
Membership in RID confers many advantages, including discounted rates on testing and literature.
Members who wish to hold office in MSRID must also be members of RID.
